This could pass as a “Rant” too i9-13900KS to support 128 GB! Really? How?

O boy! Am I pissed! What’s the point in releasing technology that is only half-baked, yet is still marketed and sold?
My goal is to construct a modest AI workstation equipped with an Intel Core i9-13900KS, ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Extreme, and Nvidia RTX 4090.
Although Intel guarantees 128GB DDR5 RAM, the CPU’s restriction to 2-way utilization renders this idea unattainable. It appears to be more of a misconception than an actuality.
Furthermore, despite Intel’s LGA 1700 and being able to accommodate a whopping 192GB DDR5 memory, their top-of-the-line processor falls conspicuously short.
Obviously, this is not an ideal time to invest in large WS rigs.
I am sure upcoming products will eliminate these issues for the time being. DDR5 will be stable enough to be adaptable and widely utilized…
However, when it comes to AI work, time is critical. I have seen some commercials, in-house WS rigs for sale that feature the 13900KS, Z790 Extreme, and 128GB DDR5 RAM. Naturally, they do not disclose the “MT/s” the memory kit is running with.It definitely isn’t 5600 MT/s!
Also how do they deploy the 4 sticks to a 2-way system?
These are big questions in my head and out there appereantly, and it doesn’t seem like they will be resolved anytime soon.
But, who knows, who knows what out there? I certainly know diddly…
Is it possible to have 128GB DDR5 RAM with the 13900KS without reducing it to 4800 MT/s (or even 5200 MT/s)?Items in question were cleared in QVLs, by the way…
